Laggan View is situated in an ideal central location 5minutes from Islay Airport and within 20 minutes of both ferry ports – PortEllen and PortAskaig.
The house is our family’s second home and is furnished and decorated to a very high standard.
The views across Loch Indaal and to Ireland, round to the Mull of Oa and PortEllen bay is a constantly changing picture of weather and light.
Just below the house less than 10 minutes drive is the Big Strand -8miles of golden sand , perfect on a summers day to picnic and on a wild winters afternoon to watch the impressive Atlantic breakers.
Islay has a wealth of activities and places to explore or you can just sit back and enjoy the slower pace of life.
Directions
Laggan View, is situated on the link road between the airport and telephone sign indicated by the red arrow on the map.
From PortAskaig follow the main road to Bowmore, and then through Bowmore towards PortEllen, immediately after Airport turn Left and follow the road for 1/2 a mile Laggan View is the first house on the left.
From PortEllen follow signs for Bowmore, just before the Airport turn right and follow the road for 1/2 a mile Laggan View is the first house on the left.
